I am a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego. I earned my Master's Degree in Social Work and completed an Advanced Studies Degree in Women's Studies from Syracuse University. The following outlines my approach to therapy, as well as the therapeutic and educational services I provide:
Philosophy
When our relationships are hurting, we are hurting. Research shows that major disconnections in our relationships with others are a contributing factor to a variety of challenges, such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
There are many ways that therapy can help. Through exploration of your relationships and struggles, we will begin to look together at patterns that may be keeping you out of connection with others. Learning to develop authentic, mutual and healthy relationships that foster growth will alleviate many symptoms.
You will begin to:
* Experience greater confidence
* Gain insight
* Improve communication
* Overcome pain and loss
* Achieve your goals
